You know, sometimes I think the Iranians are just media whores. Why else would he do something this stupid?
Iran has set up a court to try Israelis for its air attacks on Gaza and is ready to try in absentia any people who Tehran says have committed “crimes,” a judiciary official said on Tuesday.
[…] “The court is in a special branch in Tehran and entrusted with the task of dealing with the executors, planners and officials of this (Israeli) regime who have committed crimes,” judiciary spokesman Alireza Jamshidi said.
He said the court was set up on the basis of a 1948 UN convention on the prevention of genocide to which Iran is a signatory.
This, from the country that holds annual “Death to Israel” rallies, and where several of its leaders and former leaders have called for the complete destruction of the Jewish State.
Irony really is dead in the Middle East.
Psst..wanna really piss off a mad Iranian mullah?
Apparently they are super sensitive to anyone referring to the so called ‘persian’ gulf as the Arabian Gulf. Works for me.
So what’s next for this rouge regime? Sending in their thugs to threaten the Brits at their embassy?
oh wait ..they have already done that today.
The last time Carter was President, they seized the US embassy’s personnel for 444 days…
Evidently Muslims have never heard of the parable about motes and beams in the eye. Thus we see the disadvantages of a neglected education.
Since all the bigshots of the Iranian regime are advocates of genocide of the Jews they should all give themselves up to US courts for trial under that UN convention, to which Iran is a signatory, for the crime of advocating genocide.
Fighting an enemy by accepted and accustomed means of warfare (such as air strikes) is not a war crime. Terrorism is a war crime. So is advocacy of genocide. ‘Nuff said.
Don’t forget, Islam is an “Animal Farm” religion: Some animals are “more equal” than others…
It wouldn’t surprise me to find out all those “home-made” crude rockets have “Made in Iran” stamped on them. As a matter of fact, they’re not “home-made” nor are they crude. They’re factory manufactured, with highly sophisticated chemical propellants and high explosives – not something you’re going to make in the Palestinian territories, and certainly not in a home lab – and certainly not in those quantities. We pretty much know they’re coming in from Egypt, it would certainly be a good PR move on Israel’s part to find the source of the rockets…
I just added this to round up 3.5.
