But of course.
Just 25 minutes after the “humanitarian pause” declared by the IDF came to an end Wednesday afternoon, Hamas fired two Grad rockets towards southern Israel. One landed inside Beersheba; no injuries or damage have been reported.
The rocket landed on a lawn in the city, narrowly missing a building. “We were at a pub. We ran to the shelter, which was pretty far away, and by the time we reached it we heard (the rocket) fall,” Daniel, a resident of Beersheba, told Ynet.
“The floor shook. We went out and saw that it landed near here… Just a few meters to the side and we would have had a disaste herer.”
I will anxiously await the UN and EU condemnation of Hamas.
Well, no, not really. But it was fun to write that.
Why did Israel cease fire for any length of time? This is war, a war Hamas chose to start. Keep killing them until all the Hamas scum are dead or captured. Blow the tunnels in and seal them off. Blow up all munitions dumps. Kill every terrorist. In war there is no substitute for victory.
Hamas will claim a victory if it is still there after Israel finishes. No matter how much damage Israel does, as long as Hamas is in Gaza they can rebuild terrorist power. To win all Hamas has to do is survive. Israel must kill them.
