So if Adam and Eve were the first people, and Cain and Abel their sons, the question is: Where did Cain and Abel’s wives come from?
Aish.com says the Talmud says they were born with twin sisters whom they married.
I remain suspicious.

I don’t know, the whole thing is way too icky when you think about it.
Cain and Abel married the daughters from Adam’s first marriage.
I thought they married their sisters, incest was probably legal back then as they didn’t have much choice. And Adam and Eve would have been created perfect prior to getting kicked out of the garden of Eden, they wouldn’t have genetic imperfections so inbreeding wouldn’t have produced the low intellect the British royals have. Or they could have evolved and it wouldn’t have been a problem. Or maybe they were the first Jews. One could have fun with this.
Sarah G:
That is why the Torah carefully did not say. It did not want to insult them.
Actually, the Aggadah says that there was a third sister and Cain killed Abel when they fought over who would get her.
Actually, the sisters were Raelians from outerspace.
We can safely conclude that Gan Aden was located in West Virginia…
