There’s a gay organization out there called QUIT – Queers Undermining Israeli Terrorism. They are, perhaps, the stupidest gay organization in existence.
Why? Here’s why:
The Be’er Sheva Family Court ruled Tuesday that a lesbian woman can adopt her female partner’s daughter.
The biological mother gave birth to the child through a sperm donor and has since taken legal action in an effort to force the State to recognize both her and her partner as the child’s parents.
Judge Pinhas Asulin based his decision on supportive testimonies describing the two women as a family in every way. He ruled that responsibility for the child should be placed equally on both parents, similarly to the way most families function.
Now let’s take a look at the palestinian view of gay rights:
No dancing and no gays if Hamas gets its way
By Stephen FarrellA VISION of an Islamic society that bans mixed dancing and sternly disapproves of homosexuality has been given by Mahmoud Zahar, the most senior leader of Hamas in Gaza.
This is actually a very watered-down version of what would happen. The imam was lying. They don’t want to slap gays down or “sternly disapprove” of them. They kill gays in the territories. In fact, they don’t even like gays protesting in their favor in the U.K.
(London) Members of two British gay rights groups were attacked when they attempted to participate in a demonstration for Palestinian rights.
OutRage and Queer Youth Alliance went to the protest march at Trafalgar Square to show their support for people of Palestine. But they also urged the Palestinian Authority to halt the arrest, torture and murder of homosexuals.
As soon as they arrived at the square members of the two groups were surrounded by an angry, screaming mob of Islamic fundamentalists, Anglican clergymen, members of the Socialist Workers Party, the Stop the War Coalition, and officials from the protest organizers, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC).
They variously attacked the gay activists as “racistsâ€, “Zionistsâ€, “CIA and MI5 agentsâ€, “supporters of the Sharon government†and accused the gays of “dividing the Free Palestine movementâ€.
PSC organisers asked the gay activists to “stand at the back of the demonstrationâ€, and when they refused blocked their placards with their own banners and shouted down the gay campaigners as they tried to speak to journalists and other protesters.
Yes, stand at the back of the bus, boys, where they can get a clearer shot at you.
This has been going on for years. Palestinian gays routinely apply for refugee status in Israel to prevent being murdered if they return to the territories.
That’s because homosexuality is illegal in the territories.
I think the QUIT folks should take a look at this poster, and think again about exactly what they’re doing when they choose to support the palestinians. There are a few Israelis who sternly disapprove of homosexuality, but they’re not out to murder Israeli’s gays.
When they hold a Gay Pride Parade in the territories, like they do yearly now in Jerusalem, then, perhaps, QUIT should support the palestians. Not until.
What QUIT is failing to remember is the classic aphorism “Just because you’re on their side doesn’t mean they’re on your side.”
Are they the same as Queers For Palestine?
I agree. Dropping them in Gaza and forcing them to Gay Pride Parade their way back to the crossings should finish these jackasses (or is that grabasses) off.
