Looks like the Arab boycott could possibly claim millions of Muslim lives–because Israel has developed a flu medicine that is working extremely effectively against avian flu in tests so far:
Retroscreen Virology, a medical research institute subsidiary of Queen Mary College, University of London, yesterday announced that a medical preparation, Sambucol, developed by Israeli company Razei Bar Industries (1996) Ltd., reduced the quantity of cells infected with the avian flu virus by 99%, compared with a control group not treated with the virus.
Retroscreen Virology examined the effectiveness of Sambucol against the H5N1 strain of avian flu, and found that it was at least 99 per cent effective at reducing the virus.
So go ahead, Saudi Arabia–keep that boycott. Go ahead, Muslim nations–don’t use Israeli-made products. Worst case scenario, Israel won’t have to worry about being nuked if you all just keep resisting using anything developed by Israelis.
I remember after Israel took Yerushalayim in 1967, they found a warehouse with boxes of polio vaccine. The Jordanians refused to use it because Drs. Salk and Sabine. As a result, many Arab children contracted Polio.
Didn’t Jews have a hand in developing the Bomb….yet the Arabs seem to have a strong urging in acquiring that technology. Double standard from Arabs again!

Actually, this day brought 3 conspiracy theories. Quite fruitful, I would say.
One needs to make sure that the muslims hear about this loud and clear; that the descendents of apes and pigs are the ones who can save lives whereas the descendents of Mohammad can only take life away.
Can we get China, Vietnam and Turkey to smuggle chickens into Syria and Iran?

Think about it, folks. We have given the Arabs *hundreds* of billions of dollars for a mineral they couldn’t even get out of the ground without our technology.
And what have they done with all that money? Where are all the great universities, the scientific and medical advances, the Nobel Prizes? Instead it’s mostly financed their limousines and concubines, with a little left over to bribe the local psychopaths into terrorizing us instead of them. We would have been better off burning the cash directly to fuel our cars.

While it’s true that the Arab world wold be hurt by an embargo on Israeli goods, Israel would be hurt worse. The economy in Israel is horrible now, and Israel needs to increase international sales. If only the Arab world boycotts, not a huge effect on international sales.
But what about when other countries join the boycott? Russia is a major consumer of Israeli goods, but if the boycott occurs that will probably cease as their alliance with Iran and now Syria will prohibit trade with Israel. Other countries may have the same dilemna, including France.
I’m not sure if the boycott is avoidable, but if it is, Israel should pursue diplomatic efforts to avoid the boycott.
