Saudi Arabia and Egypt say the world should give Hamas a chance. Iran says they’ll fund Hamas if the rest of the world cuts off aid.
So, we have two terror-supporting states, since Hamas is designated by the EU and the U.S. as a terrorist organization.
Sanctions, anyone?
Shyeah, right. That’ll happen.
Every dinar that funds Hamas is one less dinar for long range missiles and nukes, or modesty patrols in Riyadh. Plus, I would hope there’s a way to watch what financial channels are used to complete these now well-expected transactions, and then shut them down.
Sanctions? Would be nice. But I agree, Shyeah.
If Iran and Saudi Arabia wish to compete over who can dissipate more resources by funding Hamas, Hisballah, the variants of the Muslim Brotherhood, etc. then let’s wish them both the best of luck.
