Might you care to share with us which “products” you’re using?
Actually, nothing new or notable. I think it was the lack of static electricity in the air most of today. It’s back tonight.
I used to use the original Clairol Herbal Essence shampoo (the shampoo of hippies!), but when they brought out their new line, they kept squeezing the old line off the shelves until, finally, it was gone from everywhere I shop.
Now I use that relatively new one that seemingly all the kids use — the one in the flourescent green bottle with the faux French name. It’s so memorable I can’t think of it.
Jon Stossel compared shampoos once, and found that the cheaper ones came out just as well as the expensive ones in lab tests. My original Herbal Essence was high on that list.
Clairol totally missed a market niche by not renaming it “Herbal Essence Classic” and putting it in a new bottle. It was a very popular brand.
Hey, more than I ever wanted to write about shampoo. And all for you, Patty.
Suave?
Garnier Fructis. Two faux names, one shampoo!
Funny that you should post about shampoo on the very first day that I experiment with shampoo bars. (I’ve decided I like them, and I’m going to start making my own.)
Garnier Fructis? I do believe I have ‘pooed with that before.
‘Poo is ‘poo.
What fools to discontinue the original. It was the only shampoo and conditioner I ever used. I was a wonderful herbal scent, but now the new line of “Herbal Essences” in my opinion are sickeningly sweet. I wrote to Clairol and asked why they discontinued it, and they said it wasn’t selling. That’s a lie. I know a LOT of people who used the original Herbal Essence shampoo. Just another example of a bad marketing department who wants to target ONLY the younger crowd. I believe Clairol lied to me and I will never buy a Clairol product again (unless they re-launch the ORIGINAL Herbal Essence shampoo/conditioner, then I’ll buy from them). I bet if they did re-launch it, they will sell a ton because people like me would buy 20 bottles and stock up on it in case it was discontinued again. Anyway, happy shampooing. I currently using Suave for Men shampoo 2-in-1 shampoo plus conditioner. It smells good, like Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche. Bye!
