Holy crap, just go to the main page and scroll down.
Meantime, from her latest:
I trust no woman who tells me I must expect less but do more. I trust no woman who tells me I have too much, it’s unfair, give it back. I trust no woman who bases her ostensible feminism on the premise of, “What about men?” I trust no woman who says “I’m a feminist” but does nothing but attack it. (For that matter, I trust no one whose actions seldom match his or her words. It’s a useful general principle in my life.) I cede no authority over my decisions, my health, my sanity, my lifestyle, or my inherent rights to any woman who presumes to tell me how much is enough for me.
There are people (men and women) who act like this on both sides of the aisle. There are those that you describe as straw feminists who actually behave in that way as well as those who attempt to go against feminism. There are those who call themselves pro choice who only mean “as long as what you choose is what I determine to be your choice”.
Whether they are pro or anti, the mistake is the same. An honest feminist accepts as valid the differences between people and does not insist that everyone must be the same. A person who wants a full time career in business or as a mom is to be accepted because that is what she wants rather than following an agenda.
The only one who has the authority as well as the wisdom to make a decision for someone is G-d, and He (masculine used as a language artifact only) does so because He is omniscient. No human being can be.
Yes, Sabba Hillel. And that is exactly what Ilyka is saying, and has been saying for years. (Me too.)
You have just given us a perfect example of the type of strawfeminist argument that is used against us.
