Subways: 4, 5, 6, or 7 to Grand Central StationThousands of shofarot will sound in a call of unity with Israel.
Participants are urged to bring a shofar.

If I were still living in NJ, I’d be there. If you can make it, I urge you to go. There will be thousands of Jews with shofarot protesting the modern-day Haman. Wow. I can’t wait to hear the podcasts. (Shofar is feminine? That’s—weird.)
Some Hebrew words are like that: they have plurals that sound feminine but the word remains masculine.
A few examples:
halon (window) –> halonot (there was a band in the 1960s, I believe, that was called “Ha-halonot ha-gevohim,” “The High Windows”)
ilan (tree) –> ilanot (Naomi Shemer played with these kinds of words in her song “The Nature Protection Waltz”)
halom (dream) –> halomot
Here endeth the lesson.
well, shofarim is taken for people who drive limousines…
