I’ve only just gotten a chance to check things out. I’m babysitting for Sarah and Larry while they have a Friday night out. The twins are asleep, and the boys are reading in bed. So now, let’s pray for KC and send Missy our best wishes.
Thank you so much, and thanks to Cheryl and everyone who spread the word about my darling little KC.
The first vet did indeed botch the neuter surgery. When I took her to her new vet, she had peritonitis and tissue damage due to infection. During the operation to clean everything up, KC stopped breathing. The vet, Dr. Smith of the Houston Cat Hospital, performed an emergency trach and breathed for her till they could get her stabilized.
KC will recover, it will take some time. She spent another of her 9 lives, hopefully the last for awhile. And she turns 5 months old tomorrow (Sunday).
