Does anyone out there have room for another cat?
Molly is approximated at age 10 years, she weighs 5.7 lbs. She is negative on feline AIDS and leukemia, and has had her shots. Her vet records are Eastridge Animal Hospital, and of course I have copies of them too. I am located in Gastonia, Just over the Meck County line, so I’m not far from Charlotte. (I work in downtown Charlotte, and I’m only 23 minutes away from the downtown area.) Molly is spayed and gets along fine with dogs. She seems to be ok with other cats so far.
Please let me know if I can give you any additional information as this cat will be surrendered to the vet by week’s end to be put to sleep if I cannot place her, and I just don’t want to have to go that course. Thank you, Suze
I have her phone number if you can adopt Molly. Her owner died suddenly recently, and it’s a long, sad story.
I should start thinking about someone to take Tig and Gracie if anything happened to me. Yes, I’m in good health, but who knows what the future holds?
Update: Molly has a new home. Thanks very much to those of you who offered to help.
I don’t live in the area, but isn’t there an SPCA or Humane Society? I wodner if putting the cat down is the only alternative.
have you found a home for molly?
I am in california, but ….
please let me know if you have found a home.

There isn’t a no-kill shelter in the area?
I wish I could take her in.
I’m in Nashville but give me her number. Perhaps I can help.
Great news! It’s always so sad to hear about homeless older cats. That appeal on Lar’s blog had me ready to jump in my car and drive 600 miles, even though I’m in the midst of nursing one of my own at the moment.
