Tzipi Livni gave a great press conference. Read the whole thing, and I think you’ll agree. Then, buried at the end of the article (where it belongs), is this pearl of wisdom from the Czech foreign minister:
The Czech foreign minister, whose country serves as the current EU president, said that a ceasefire must be implemented as soon as possible and must include an end to the rocket fire directed at Israel.
He added that a ceasefire must be declared before all military targets are achieved.
How do you say “Eff off” in Hebrew?
What nerve. What absolutely disregard for the safety of Israel. Declare a ceasefire before you eliminate the threat?
Asshat.
This is the guy that says he understands Israel is acting in self-defense? Looks like the Euroweenies got to him.
“Eff off” in Hebrew:
Lech lehizdayen!
Hey, you asked…
Either that or “Lekh tizdayen” which is slightly more direct and confrontational.
Also, some suggestions, if I may:
“Efes aluv vetzavu’a” – pathetic, hypocrite lowlife.
“Tguva lo proportionalit batakhat sheli” – disprortionate response, my ass.
“Lama shelo takhzor le’Eropa vetechapes mishehoo acher lidkhof lo et ha’af – why don’t you go back to Europe and look for someone else to stick you nose in his affairs.
And as always, my favorites:
Simply: “Achotcha” – your sister
Or the always threatening: “Tguva lo proprotionalit? Techef ani are’e lo mi efo hadag mashtin” – disproportionate response? I’ll show you from where the fish pisses.
Oh, I like that last one. Very creative.
This guy is a total asshat.
FWIW, it was the Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek and not this putz Foreign Minister who had made the surprise remark about Israel’s military actions being defensive rather than offensive.
While you guys all went off on various foreign language commentary, you overlooked that jewel of irony, a Czech, a CZECH, of all people, a Czech telling another nation to let an international consensus dictate her foreign policy.
Hadn’t this clown gotten the memo about a little international confab that went down in a place called Munich?
That a Czech would effectively tell another nation to stand down is just beyond bizarre.
i can’t believe he openly stated that he WANTS terrorism against israel to continue, and that it would be unacceptable for israel to completely put an end to it! oh my god.
