Battlestar Galactica season 4, episode 11, no spoilers

Just have to say this about the twelfth Cylon:

Whooooooaaaaaaaaaaa.

Also: Damn. That totally blows MY theory on who it was.

Update: There are now some spoilers in the comments. Fair warning.

  1. Maquis says:

Still wiping my eyes over my beloved Duala, and geeking out over the identity of the expired habitants of Earth. Best show on the tube, but Lost is close, and comes back next week!

  2. Jay Tea says:

    I, too, was blown away.

Not only did they get John Colicos to appear as the 12th Cylon before his death, they kept it a secret from the fans. Hats off to the creators.

    J.

  3. Eric J says:

    J. – John Colicos was one thing, but the CGI Fred Astaire just blew me away.

  4. joelr says:

Well, yeah; I don’t know anybody who guessed that it was [I’m not spoiling, either].

  5. Jack says:

I am not buying it. I enjoyed the episode, but I am still not convinced about number 12. I will say this, I definitely had other ideas.

  6. You know, Jack, that’s the thing. It really doesn’t work for me yet. They may be doing another head-fake. I mean, my friends and I did talk about the possibilities that 12 was who was revealed last night, but I don’t think 12 works unless it’s Baltar.

When Deanna said the last Cylon was not in the fleet, there were several candidates standing right in front of her: Adama, Roslin, Helo, and Baltar.

I think it’s one of them.

And then we have the mystery of Starbuck.

Last night’s episode opened more cans of worms than it closed.

I don’t think they were on the right Earth.

I didn’t see an obnoxiously cute kid anywhere.

  7. Jack says:

I had been mulling over Gaeda and Baltar. Definitely wondered if they were in a parallel universe.
