It’s snowing here in the Richmond area, the first big snow in two years. I just went out to stock up on caffeine (can’t live without my Coca-Cola) and junk food, as I have everything else I need. The Weather Channel is calling for six to eight inches, a huge hit for us.
I love my Jeep. After I put it into 4WD, it handled beautifully. Of course, I don’t drive fast in the snow, which is a factor. As I stopped in the Walgreens, a guy in a little two-seater sports car pulled up. His wheels were spinning just trying to get up the slight rise in the parking lot. He’s going to have a lot of fun driving home, as there’s already more than half an inch on the roads in some places.
And yes, Virginia, there is a VDOT. I had the misfortune to get behind a salt truck on my way back home. (Lucky for me, I’m just a few hundred yards from the Walgreens, at the bottom of the hill.)
I don’t have to drive to NorVA tomorrow for my weekly trip. And I’m getting some work done today so I can work less tomorrow and go out and play in the snow.
Pictures to come.
Woot!
It’s official, no school tomorrow!
