Mainstream media math on the tea parties

The AP and CNN are going with “tens of thousands” attending 800 tea parties across the nation. Atlanta police are estimating 10,000 in that city alone. Lansing, MI had 3-4,000. Madison, WI, Columbia, SC, Richmond, VA, Nashville, TN, Tampa, FL: Eatch city is reporting thousands at each demonstration.

I’d go with “hundreds of thousands,” but being a rather fact-based person, I think I’ll do some more research and then come up with some decent numbers.

It looked like several thousand in Richmond on a cold, rainy day. I think that speaks volumes for the country as a whole.

I believe the phrase of the day is
“We are mad as hell, and we are not going to take it anymore!!!”

Plus the dirty word of the day

    “RECALL”

Make your lists and check them twice, Congress has been really naughty and not at all nice.

I cannot but feel sympathetic to the leftists and the msm. This time the demonstrations involving hundreds of thousands of people are against them and they really don’t know how to deal with it. The idea that “the people” take to the streets for a cause they don’t favor really is beyond their comprehension. I guess that’s why they didn’t write much about it; they didn’t know how to spin it.

I was a lifelong Democrat, never voted Republican for president until last fall, and if there’s been a Tea Party in the Detroit are I would have been there.
