Seriously? The “five pillars” of a “new foundation” for the economy? Seriously? Because the birther nutjobs aren’t going to see a correlation to the five pillars of Islam? Really, who are the idiots in the Obama White House that vetted this? Or are they trying to get the birthers even more obnoxious?
Sadly enough, the best and most effective tool liberals have – and use the most – is ridicule. They wield it like a sword. They’re probably banking on people reacting to it – so they can ridicule it. Same reason The_One hasn’t taken on the birthers, or provided his college transcripts, why there’s no explanation of why he and Michelle were disbarred in Illinois, etc.
Because when people bring it up, they throw out the ridicule, and discredit their opponents, even when those opponents are asking legitimate, reasonable questions. Today’s Democrats have very little to offer but Soviet-style socialism, and they know it isn’t palatable, so they have became experts on propoganda. And that’s one thing they are very very good at…
