The novel is complete.
I did it.
I want to jump up and down and shout and then set off fireworks outside. But my neighbors probably wouldn’t like the last, so I won’t.
I am, however, going to go downstairs and pour myself a drink.
I’ve earned it.
Details to come. Soon!
Mazeltov.
Very best wishes from Australia for success (and many more).

Congrats!
Alright Meryl!
Good for you.
Many blessings!
Congratulations, Meryl. I envy you. I am supposed to be a “smart guy” but I can’t even write a single page of fiction, let alone a novel. Good luck in pursuing this.
Let us know as soon as it’s available.
Alex, that I can promise you.
I’m releasing it as an ebook and using Amazon’s CreateSpace to also publish a print novel, and then we’ll see what happens from there. I’m planning on a mid-August release date. I need to edit, then have it copyedited, then the second edit (actually more like the twentieth since I edit as I go along), then proofreading, then I am anxiously awaiting the cover art from Julie Dillon, and THEN I need the cover designed and then, at long last, I get to upload it to the two Amazon outlets and publish the book.
I may be an independent novelist, but I have a long history in publishing and my novel is going to be professional and as well-done as I can possibly make it.
Kol hakavod! You’ve got a fan base that will rush to order anything you write. I don’t know if it fits the book’s theme, but Tig and Gracie would look great on a book cover.
Well, Gracie is going to be on the cover, sort of. She’s the model for Goldeneyes, one of the Catmages in the book.
like your site. wishing you great success as novelist.
