Well, there were a few posts here and there. I published book two in The Catmage Chronicles. I’m working on book 3. I went to Water Country, USA with my nephew (we had a ton of fun). My Jeep Wrangler hit 200,000 miles. I went to San Diego for my cousin’s daughter’s wedding (which was wonderful). I watched Meimei grow up to be a whole 6 pounds, three ounces. She’s pretty much topped out. I have one giant Maine Coon mix who is 19 pounds and losing weight, because he’s on a diet. And I have a tiny tabby/Siamese mix. The days here have gotten very amusing.
They play a lot. Tig has never learned to control his bite, though, and Meimei is letting him know when he’s too much. She runs away. Or I yell at him. Or both. She loves her big brother, though. In the picture above, Meimei crawled under the afghan to try to get Tig to play. He ignored her. So she decided to take a nap with him.
It wasn’t a very exciting summer, but it was nice. And now it’s autumn in Richmond, and my blog is back, and I’m starting to think this was just what the doctor ordered. I’ve been a bit down in the dumps lately. Today seems like the horizon just opened up wide and beckoned me to come on down.
Give them scritchs from me.
