Lair has a dream. You know, it’s one I frankly share. Mostly because I’ve been reading too many of the Jew-hating comments lately.

Omri on that same subject. Omri on Jimmy Carter, which is essentially the same subject.

Solly in Israel.

Daled Amos over at Soccerdad: More on Jimmy Carter. (Bring the barf bags.)

Jimmy effing Carter’s letter to American Jews. I shall be composing an answer soon. By the way, those rabbis whom he stood in a circle and held hands with? You know, that eminently Christian way of praying? At least one of them was Reform. Gee. Whoda thunk it? A Reform rabbi doing a prayer circle. ‘Cause, like, that’s such a Jewish thing to do. Not.

I’d link to the SNN podcast here, but I decided not to contribute my poem, “How the Jews Stole Christmas,” due to an overwhelming feeling that I need to step back and look at it again before publishing it. Yeah, I’m in a bit of a crappy mood. Why do you ask?

  1. Paul says:

Let Jimmy Carter have his opinion-I have mine. I like Jews-good people !

  2. michael says:

    I read Carter’s letter.

“I don’t hate Jews; some of my friends are Jews!”

That man makes me want to gag.

About Lair’s dream: Prophetic dreams (such as Pharoah and the cows) were designed to allow people time to repent and have the evil decree rescinded. Let us pray that the human beings of this world will wake up and take action so that the full horror of that dream will not have to occur.

  4. I think you’re just worried about being associated with my Conference On Mohammed Denial outburst.

Awwww… Meryl, Laurence. Don’t feel so bad.

Did not God say this to Abram in Genesis 12-3: “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”?

Would it not surprise you that one of the most great blessings in my life came from a Jewish couple?

You and your people are warm in my thoughts. Though I may not speak your language, I believe you to be a good people.

You and your people are not forgotten.
